Terror attacks and bomb blasts all over the world. Millions of innocent people die every year. Numerous security personnel sacrifice their lives defending others from militants. Billions of dollars of property is lost every year. Inhumane terrorist acts. You open the News Paper, your TV, Radio or any media for that matter; you will find news related to terrorism from across the globe.
One question lingers in my mind all the time, i.e. after all what are these militants fighting for? They are fighting against whom? What do they want to establish?
There are a number of terrorist organizations across the world. All the outfits talk about revenge of years and centuries of suppression. What suppression are they talking about?
Lets talk about the demands of the terrorist outfits in the Indian subcontinent. LTTE, Al-Qaeda, Taliban, BODOs, etc. all of them have one demand. They want independence, Jehad, whatever name you call it. I guess all the countries of the world are free. Every citizen of the world is a free citizen. I have not been able to figure out the reason for killing so many innocent people. Did these people who die in blasts, ever suppress the terrorists? A small boy who used to go to school, died in a terrorist attack in Pakistan recently. What was his fault? Several innocent young and old dynamic brains died in the Twin Tower WTC 9/11 attack. Millions of public money came down in rubble. Why, what for?
We talk about fighting the terrorists. Why don’t we talk about wiping them out? Till when are we going to start living a life without the threat of getting shot at the chest on the road someday?
If these terrorists talk about freedom, why don’t we give them freedom from this world, once and for all?
Still, I still do not have an answer to this Million Dollar question. What do the terrorists actually want? Do you have an answer?
