Why Most Bosses are unpopular

The Boss is always right, even if he is wrong. Yes this is the mantra of the corporate culture. There are very few bosses who are popular. There are reasons why most bosses are not liked by their subordinates. A typical manager has a lot of burden on his head, or he might just show that he has. He has to build a bridge between the Top Management and the workforce. And doing this he needs to take a lot of decisions which do not often favor the workforce. Moreover he has to himself abide by his boss’ command, which he does not like. A manager is would not be liked by his subordinates because he asks them to work, because he does not let them take leaves and because he asks them to follow procedures. A boss will always talk about targets and revenue which the subordinates would never like. Some subordinates do not like their bosses because the boss gets all the credit from the top management when a task is completed successfully. Some others would not like their leads because he gets all the attention of the female co-workers in the office. Most of the subordinates do not like their bosses because they think that they can do better than what their boss can do. Almost everyone has this feeling that the boss does not know anything but he just is sitting there at a higher level. What people forget is that when they reach a higher level and become boss of others, they will be looked upon in the same manner as they look at their boss then. Of course there are some bosses who make their own self unpopular amongst their subordinates. This possibly happens because even they have faced the ruthlessness of their bosses at some point in their career.

Bosses will be generally hated till the end of the earth and no one can change this phenomena.
