Apollo 11 invites Obama to aim Mars.

200,000 miles away, Billions of eyes stared at the TV away as they watched Neil Amstrong planting his boots on the Moon dust at 10:56 p.m that July, 1969.

"That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind." Jay Barbree said on TV that day. These words charmed NASA much, 40 years later it is still bogged down on the moon.

On Monday, in a visit to White House, the first astronauts and Apollo 11 crew member wants President Barack Obama to aim for new destinations and urge NASA to turn its focus on Mars.

Maybe after 40 years they felt it’s high time we put this first step further and make another leap for mankind.
