Flameless candles

Do you love candles but can not have them in your home or dorm room because of landlord rules or just your dorm rules? Then you should try out flameless candles. These flameless candles are battery operated devices that look like candles, including a small light bulb that flickers just like a flame on a regular candle. Usually these flameless candles have a place to put some kind of scented oil that the mechanism inside the candle heats up and disperses around the room just like a regular candle would as well. This means that these battery operated candles perform everything that a regular candle does without the danger of lighting things on fire.

You can find flameless candles at such places as Brookstone and the Sharper Image stores. However, because the popularity of flameless candles has greatly increased recently, numerous other companies have now started creating flameless candles that are much cheaper. You can even find fake candles at most grocery stores now in the air freshener aisle. Many air freshener companies have now made these types of artificial candles that include the scents that made these air freshener companies famous.
You can also find flameless candles online. In fact, many people find that shopping for flameless candles and flameless candles scent refills online is easier than trying to find them in the stores. This is because most Web sites carry more types of candles and scents in their stock than regular stores do. However, if you have never tried an artificial candle before, you should make sure to check the Web site's return policy in case you are not happy with the products that you have purchased. Make sure to read all the fine print on the Web site to make sure that the site is not tacking on exorbitant shipping costs or strange taxes to increase its profit. If any of this information leaves you with questions, you should not hesitate to call the customer service number to get your questions answered. If the answers you get from a customer service representative do not thrill you, then you should consider shopping at a different Web site.
Many people claim that flameless candles do not provide the same amount of scent as regular candles do. If you try a flameless candles and find that you agree with this complaint, there is an alternative to flameless candles that will still work for those people who can not have open flames in their rooms or homes. This alternative is a candle warmer and candle wax tarts. These "tarts" are simply small discs of candle wax that you melt on a candle warmer, which is like a hot plate.

  1. Hello. In addition to candle warmers (which are sometimes still not allowed in strict dorm rooms), I thought I'd add that you can still add fragrance to your room and avoid a fire hazard by using scent fans and diffusers. Both of these methods can provide a nice fragrance to freshen up your room without the danger of setting anything on fire. I sell Partylite Products myself, so I know that their brand of scent4u fans and diffusers work very well. However, I'm sure many companies make similar products. www.partylite.biz/NicoleRene
