Catwalk refers to the walk done by models during fashion show. Catwalk is to walk on elevated platform demonstrating accessories as well as clothes during fashion shows. The term catwalks probably were acquired as these models tip-toe and walk on thin lines resembling cats walking on the building fences. The models typically walk like a cat by placing one foot front of the other producing a glamorous swagger such that the hips show an exaggerated movement. However, this is most popular style of walk in fashion shows. A catwalk oops and a fashion career is related. The fashion models are paid big money to prance their stuff on the shows. * The length of your foot should match the steps you take.

* Your back should be kept straight in line with your body.

* Balance your weight on each foot so that you do not walk heavily on foot and your weight should be maintained on your feet balls.

* Your toes should be pointed straight and walk as though a line is drawn. Keep your foot in front of the other.

* Swing your legs with each step, but avoid moving your hips much.

* Keep your arms in accordance with your legs to balance as well as to have a professional look such that your left arm should move forward with your left foot.

* Your shoulders are arms should appear to be free and you should not look stiff.

Catwalk oops can be easily avoided if you go with the saying practice makes man perfect. You have to concentrate on your catwalk and then draw a straight line and ensure that your line is straight and you are walking on it as this is important.
