Antidepressants causing hair loss

Antidepressant is recommended by the doctors only to people suffering with depression. As antidepressant reduces the depression and calm the patient, it is highly preferred, but there are significant side effects also that come in combination. However, as each antidepressant varies from one another, the side effects also are different. Some experience nauseates or dizziness, while others experience weight loss or sudden weight gain. In the same line falls the relation of antidepressants also cause hair loss. Yet, many have a doubt regarding the relation between antidepressant and hair loss. However, this is not far from truth and the patients suffering depression should also be prepared to face this novel and potential embarrassment of dealing various other initial stages of problems. Stopping taking antidepressants is the ideal and best route, but prior to it one thing is essential for the patients and that is to have a proper discussion with the doctor regarding the hair loss issue. Stopping the medications supported with medical advice will turn to be safe and will prevent from total loss. Patients undergoing antidepressants observing hair loss should certainly inform their doctors and consult regarding preventing it. They will give a change of medication. However, it is not that all the antidepressant medications will result in thinning of hair. But, in case there is any such problem it can be solved by consulting the doctor and taking new medicines to stop hair fall.
