The cars used in these games are derived from the real world. In fact the car companies sponsor the game for their car to be used in the game.

The game makers make the cars in the game look as realistic against the real world counterpart. The specifications are taken from the car company and are implemented in the game. Thus the player need not have to ride a real vehicle and let it crash. All he needs to do is play this game. Some noteworthy games in this genre are Flat Out, Burnout Paradise, Demolition Racer etc.
