Car crash game

Since the day you were born your parents have been bringing you toys of all kinds. If at all you are a boy probably, you'd have got many toy cars to play with, cars of all kinds, traveling, passenger and luxury. These miniature toys mimic the real car which is one of the most wonderful inventions ever done by man. As you grew older and older, probably you've become a fan of one or the other car. Cars are no longer fantasies. They have become accessible by almost everyone. If you have a job and a stable income or you have a profitable business, probably you already own a car if not luxury one's. Although there are various higher end models of the manufacturers like Bentley, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Rolls-Royce, Porsche which are still not in the range of a middle class person.

The developments in the car industry have come a long way. The cars have now got meaner and faster. The cars have broken all speed records and are growing in speed and power day by day. The youngsters have a different kind of taste about the cars. Many like powerful cars whereas others like faster cars. But there are many people who like to see the cars being crushed. They term the car crashes where debris come rolling by as "cool" although they don't care about the person who is driving the car. To quench this weird thirst for fun, developers among the computer science department came up with the concept of car crash games.

These are nothing more than video games, which can either be played with a joystick, keyboard or force feedback which is an electronic steering wheel attached to the gaming console. The force feedback gives a realistic feeling of driving. These games give you an opportunity to crash into other cars, and watch how the opponent cars go rolling, or get your own car smashed. These video games use latest drivers and technology to give a realistic rendering of images of the scenery. The player feels as if it is happening for real. The cars used in these games are derived from the real world. In fact the car companies sponsor the game for their car to be used in the game.

The game makers make the cars in the game look as realistic against the real world counterpart. The specifications are taken from the car company and are implemented in the game. Thus the player need not have to ride a real vehicle and let it crash. All he needs to do is play this game. Some noteworthy games in this genre are Flat Out, Burnout Paradise, Demolition Racer etc.
