Bedroom for the Newlyweds

For the newlyweds, bedroom should be the most romantic spot in the house. Newlyweds must have comfortable pillows, fluffy comforters and a cosy bed for the bedroom. Shades of crimson, blue and pink are ideal when it comes to the bedroom for the newlyweds. Use flowing fabrics like silk or chiffon for the curtains. Instead of going for prints go for solid colors like pink or shades of pastel. You can use the floral motifs and patchwork in the bed sheets and bedcovers. Ample use of cushions and pillows will complete the look of an elegant bedroom for the newlyweds. While soft carpets are ideal for the bedroom flooring, one can also use marble flooring or glaze tiles as an alternative.

The Bed and Linen
Wooden beds with attached bed lamp are ideal for those who have recently tied the knot. Couples with low budget can use wrought iron beds in their bedroom. The bed must be given a comfortable feel with the right use of bed sheets and bed covers. Use of duvets and soft bed comforters can also make the job easy. Bed covers with lacy borders and stitch works are ideal for the bedroom of a newly wedded couple. While keeping the pillows one can also keep a special pillow right in the centre of the bed. The pillow cover of the special pillow can contain anything from a romantic line embossed on it, to a picture of the couple posing together. While choosing the colors of the linen one must keep in mind the personality and preference of the couple. You can make the bed an ever inviting place for your partner by hanging an artificial canopy from the ceiling. A headboard is also must for such beds. On the headboard can be hanged those special moments when you caught him unaware!

Furniture and Accessories
If either of the partners is moving to the other’s place there is no need no throw away the old set of furniture. One can easily paint the wardrobes in a unique manner or accommodate the pictures in the bedroom with little imagination. Draw a smart portrait of your girl on her wardrobe door or pin up all the Valentine’s Day cards and hang them along the bed stead. You can make a grand collage with pictures of both of you till you met each other. Frame it up with the other wedding pictures and keep it right above the bed. Undoubtedly the frame would add a great spunk to your bedroom. One can always use a bunch of scented candles to give the bedroom the required dreamy effect. Instead, you may also use a combination of night lamps and chandeliers to surprise your love on the nuptial night. Use of fluorescent lights that can be stuck on the ceiling is an excellent idea to transform a bachelor’s room into a romantic bedroom for the newly wed. Proper utilisation of ingenuity can help you offer a regal treatment to your spouse as she steps into your life!
