Man is a social animal and cannot live alone. We have been studying this in school and we have experienced this as well. One really cannot live without friends and relatives. But why is it important to be social? There are several necessities for being social. A person becomes so stressed out with the routine monotonous life that they need some people to share some time with. Imagine if you have a leaking tap in your washroom and it makes a water drop sound after regular intervals, will you not get irritated and change or repair the tap? Why do we get irritated with that sound? Because it becomes monotonous and our brain can’t take the sound after it reaches a saturation level. Similarly, on performing the same activities in your life, you brain starts getting saturated and it needs a change. Still if you do not change your activities, the brain stops functioning or revolts against the monotony. This makes you enter a depression phase and you start hating the work. But if you start hating your work, what will you earn? Then you will start looking for a change in job or you will simply force yourself to continue doing the work.
Enter, socializing. You need to bring some change in your lifestyle rather than changing your job.
Take out some time to be with your friends. If you do not have friends, make new ones. Your socializing gives your brain some rest so that you function properly. You get to see variety in life when you socialize. Socializing has other benefits also. You build your friend circle and this circle comes to your help when you are in trouble. If you do not socialize, no one even knows that you are in a problem. You get to know more and more people and you learn new things from others if you socialize.
People with a smaller friend circle are usually introverts and sometimes seem to be arrogant. They try to keep themselves in a shell. People, who have bigger friends’ network, are extroverts and are happier than the introverts. If you have a concern you can get it resolved if you socialize.
Socializing gives your life pep and gives you a timely break when you need one. Socializing however does not mean that you spend all your time with your friends and you avoid work. It is only a de-stressing tool. Socializing makes you popular and it opens a lot of career avenues for you as well. Most of the job opportunities are grasped through socializing. Socializing makes your people network huge and dependable.
Socializing gives person recognition and shows the way of the world. Socializing is important for a person to survive the cruel world and its competitions. People, who do not have friends, become rude and arrogant because they do not know the basic etiquettes of communication.
Finally as we all know, a friend in need is a friend in deed. So make friends and socialize so that friends can help you during your needs.
